I've been working memorizing The Hayloft. It is hard because it has 4 verses. My favorite verse is the first one: Through all the pleasant meadow side, The grass grew shoulder high, Till the shining scythes went far and wide, And cut it down to dry.
I read to Derek from First Big Book of Space.
I drew tools in art and then painted pink for the background.

I finished Reading Eggs this week and got to start Reading Express. That's what Calvin does.
I read to Derek from the Read Aloud Rhymes book.
I started a new math book and it's a Star Wars one.
I memorized Psalm 46:10, and the first verse of The Hayloft.
I played Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Solid Rock on the guitar.
I read Goldilocks and the Three Bears to my mom.
I didn't have art this week.

This week in art we made a scratching poster. We used tools to scrape the black and then it showed the white that's behind it. I scraped a picture about night. It has shooting stars, a car, a sky balance beam with people walking on it, people, and a hotel.
We learned about the first man on the moon. He put an American flag on the moon.

Last week I had only 2 days of school because it was birthday. I'm 6 now.
Reading Eggs is a computer game where to have to read to get gold eggs. When you have lots of gold eggs you buy things like: clothes, house stuff for a bird guy.
For math I'm learning about subtraction.
My favorite thing from family school was learning about the moon. We watched a cool movie about the moon from the History Channel. It talked about the phases of the moon.
