March 24

Last week I had only 2 days of school because it was birthday.  I'm 6 now.
Reading Eggs is a computer game where to have to read to get gold eggs.  When you have lots of gold eggs you buy things like: clothes, house stuff for a bird guy.
For math I'm learning about subtraction.

My favorite thing from family school was learning about the moon.  We watched a cool movie about the moon from the History Channel.  It talked about the phases of the moon.

  1. How many phases does the moon have? I am glad you are learning about the moon. Can you see it from your bedroom window? Subtraction can be fun. especially when you have some candy and subtract from it by putting it in your mouth--oh, oh, mow I'm giving out my secrets. I bet it is fun to play the reading egg game on the computer!!

  2. Wonderful job Magic James! I would love to hear about what you created and how you made it! It looks quite difficult. You had an eventful week with having 2 birthdays to celebrate...and yours was one of them! I bet you had a great week! What is the name of your reading game? I would like to look it up. Math is so important...I use it all the time in my work. Keep up the good work! And when you look at the moon on your side of the world just think that we're looking at the same moon on our side of the world!

  3. I wish I had learning computer games when I was your age. W didn't have a computer until 1985, when your dad was about Calvin's age. I absolutely love to learn new things. The History Channel is on of my favorites. Make sure you suggest things to your Mom that you'd like to learn. Love what you learn.
